Michael Alti

Michael Alti represents a wide range of commercial and residential common interest developments.  He advises associations on matters including governing document analysis and amendments, contract negotiations, land use matters, property disputes, and rules enforcement.  Michael prides himself on seeking practical, cost-effective solutions for his clients.


As a land use attorney, Michael has developed a particular niche in representing associations and other property owners before City Councils and Planning Commissions regarding land use, zoning and environmental matters.  He also serves as an instructor with the California Association of Community Managers (CACM).

Prior to joining Community Legal Advisors, Inc., Michael’s practice focused on land use, water, and environmental matters.  His practice included representing public agency clients as well as private developers in a variety of complex issues ranging from CEQA compliance, eminent domain, land use entitlements, as well as resolving water rights and water supply disputes.

Michael graduated summa cum laude from UCLA in 1998, majoring in Business Economics with a minor in German. He also attended UCLA for law school, where he specialized in Business Law, graduating in 2001.

Michael is fluent in 4 languages.  Outside of his legal practice, he is active in a variety of charitable causes and serves on the Board of the St. Thomas More Society of Orange County and Share Hope USA.  In his free time, Michael enjoys hiking, cycling and traveling.
